Congresswoman Nellie Pou represents New Jersey’s 9th Congressional District. A longtime public servant and former state legislator, Nellie has focused her career on transportation, public safety, economic opportunity, and delivering resources to working families and local communities. In Congress, she serves on the House Homeland Security Committee and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, where she works on issues including aviation, highways, transit, and water infrastructure.

Nellie won election to Congress in 2024 with 50.8% of the vote to 45.9%, securing a key Democratic seat in northern New Jersey. Nellie faces another tight race in 2026.
