Janelle Stelson (PA-10)
Red to Blue Candidate
Janelle Stelson spent decades as one of Central Pennsylvania’s most trusted broadcast journalists, building a career focused on listening to and advocating for her community. After moving to Harrisburg in 1986, she joined WHTM-TV as a reporter and weather anchor before spending 26 years at WGAL-TV 8, where she became a familiar and trusted voice across the region. Janelle is now running for Congress as a political outsider focused on lowering costs, restoring accountability, and putting Central Pennsylvanians ahead of partisan politics.
In 2024, Stelson ran one of the strongest congressional races in the country, significantly outperforming the top of the Democratic ticket and earning support from Democrats, Independents, and Republicans alike. She came within just a few points of defeating Republican Congressman Scott Perry in Pennsylvania’s 10th District, one of the nation’s premier battleground seats.
With another tight race expected in 2026, Pennsylvania’s 10th constitutes a must-win seat to secure a House majority, and we can only get there with Janelle’s success.
